Dr. James Berger:
Dr. Berger started the Walcott Family Pet Clinic in 2001.  Dr. Berger is a graduate of Iowa State University; he practiced mixed animal practice for several years before deciding to concentrate focus on small animal medicine.  He has been striving to increase the care available to all of the patients of the clinic.  Dr. Berger attends regular continuing education meetings to stay current on medical advancements.  He is a member of the AVMA, IVMA, and QCVMA.  He has special interest in dermatology, especially for ear and allergy  cases.  Dr. Berger  has a wonderful bedside manner that clients praise him on regularly.  Dr. Berger's interests outside of the clinic include spending time with his wife and four children and being an active participant in his church.








Dr. Laura Bahns:
Dr. Bahns joined the Walcott Family Pet Clinic in February 2006.   She is also a graduate from Iowa State University.  She practiced in Muscatine prior to joining WFPC.  Dr. Bahns enjoys the family practice atmosphere of WFPC; treating patients from pediatric to geriatric stages of life.  Like Dr. Berger, Dr. Bahns attends regular education meetings to provide the best care to our patients.  Dr. Bahns' areas of special interest include senior care and internal medicine.  Dr. Bahns life outside of the clinic is kept busy with her husband and two young children.  The Bahns household is rounded out with two four-legged, furry children, Faith (dog) and Ed (cat).
